| Last Spring a girl at Alpharetta Northpark collapsed on the field. Alpharetta Northpark had an AED at the park and was able to use it to resuscitate the Child. The board unanimously agrees that it would be great to have a device such as this for the park, however, the cost of $1,500-2,500 plus training cost are more than a non-government all volunteer park can afford at this time. What we are looking for is a business that would like to have a three year sponsorship of an AED for the park. With publicity. Please let us know if you or someone you know can assist us in any way. | The Clay Bible Charity tournament had 20 softball teams in all age groups for the tournament held on August 9th. The event raised over $5,000 for the Bible family to help cover medical cost from a work related accident. We at SCRA would like to echo The Bible Family's thank you to everyone who contributed to make the event a huge success. |
